Additional Information

Directions to the Farm: Click: Directions to Farm

Wine Tasting Room: Open during the festival for wine tastings, wine sales and to purchase cheese plates.

Pets: Pets are not allowed on the grounds of the Lavender Festival, except Service Dogs. We appreciate your cooperation. Please note: It is against Arizona State Law to leave any animal -- including pets -- in a vehicle REGARDLESS of the precautions taken (which includes: open windows, A/C, refrigeration, fans, etc.).

Non Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited on the farm and in the parking area due to the fire risk and as a courtesy to non-smokers.

Bees: Bees love lavender so you will see them on the lavender plants. They are generally harmless because the bees are so enthralled with the lavender that they rarely sting. The only reported sting in 12 years has been someone in open-toed shoes that stepped on a bee.

However, people with allergies to bees should be aware of this potential risk.

Picnic Area: We have some dining tables available (first come) or you can sit on the grass if you want to bring your lunch.  Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be brought onto the premises.

U-Cut: We provide the clippers for the U-Cut.

What to Wear: Comfortable closed-toed shoes, a hat for sun protection, bottled water.

Lodging: Visit Pinetop, Snowflake and Show Low Chamber of Commerce websites for lodging recommendations.

Road Conditions: The road to the farm is about one mile off the main highway.  It is a well maintained dirt road and easily passable.  All vehicles including tour buses, RV's, motorcycles and small cars can easily navigate the road to the entry gates.

Parking: Park in the lot outside of the entry gate.

Paths: After entering the gates, there is about a 100 yard walk on a cinder road that leads to the farm store; the remaining pathways are crushed granite.

Reminder: Please stay within the event grounds, hiking and walking around the property outside of these areas is not allowed.
