ESTATE GROWN/GROWN ON THE VINEYARD WINES
This notation is for grapes grown on the property. These wines have deeper ties to the place they are grown, also known as terroir. They take on the flavors of the area they are grown. All our grapes are hand-picked. Our boutique winery, at an elevation of 6,100 feet, produces a small number of cases per year. Most notable about the wine grapes grown on the vineyard, is that it is very rare to see both Pinot Noir and Viognier grapes grown in Arizona and at higher elevations.
Additional Information
Wine Tasting Room: Open for wine tastings, wine sales and to purchase cheese plates.
Pets: Pets are not allowed on the grounds of the Lavender Festival, except Service Dogs. We appreciate your cooperation. Please note: It is against Arizona State Law to leave any animal -- including pets -- in a vehicle REGARDLESS of the precautions taken (which includes: open windows, A/C, refrigeration, fans, etc.).
Non Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited on the farm and in the parking area due to the fire risk and as a courtesy to non-smokers.
Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be brought onto the premises.
Bees: Bees love lavender so you will see them on the lavender plants. They are generally harmless because the bees are so enthralled with the lavender that they rarely sting. The only reported sting in 12 years has been someone in open-toed shoes that stepped on a bee. However, people with allergies to bees should be aware of this potential risk.
Picnic Area: We have some dining tables available (first come) or you can sit on the grass if you want to bring your lunch.
U-Cut: We provide the clippers for the U-Cut.
What to Wear: Comfortable closed-toed shoes, a hat for sun protection, bottled water.
